Hong Kong Nights — Victoria Harbour's Most Beautiful Night Moments
Every Hong Kong night short we have published, in the order it came out — one harbour after dark, numbered moment by moment. Nine moments so far, and the series is still running: new nights air most evenings at 7:00 PM CT. When the most beautiful are chosen by the standard written on this page, they will become one long film — and this is the page they will live on.

The oldest way across this water — still the best seat in the city.
Hong Kong's face is on the water, and after dark it puts on its best clothes. From the waterfront, the harbour is a room with two lit walls: towers standing on both shores, ferries crossing between them, and windows, signs and whole building faces burning over black water. We filmed these nights the only way they ask to be filmed — standing where we stood, phone in hand, in no hurry at all. Some cities you photograph. This one, at night, you stand inside of.
These are those moments, numbered in the order we published them — the same numbers the films carry in their titles. Each one stands here with its frame, its story, and the film itself. The series is still running, and this album stays open: every new night joins the list below as it airs. The most beautiful will be gathered into a single compilation film by the open standard written near the end of this page — until then, all of them are home.
No. 1 — Victoria Harbour After Dark

The series starts wide: the whole far shore lit end to end, signs burning blue and red over black water, the harbour doing what it does every night — being Hong Kong's face after dark. This was the first Hong Kong night we ever published, on October 9, 2026, and everything on this page grew out of it: one waterfront, one phone, and a city that does not believe in dimming.
No. 2 — The Waterfront, Glowing

The camera stands by the waterfront and simply watches the city glow: the skyline lit up along the shore, and below it the water shimmering, breaking every light into pieces and putting it back together. Nothing happens in this film, and that is the point — the harbour at night is not a show you watch from a seat. It is a room you stand in, and the standing is the whole experience.
No. 3 — A Thousand Lights

Hong Kong after dark never disappoints: the harbour glowing with a thousand lights, and us standing by the water, soaking it all in. That is the whole plot of No. 3, published on October 24, 2026 — no trick, no rush, just the far shore doing its nightly work of being looked at, and doing it very well.
No. 4 — The Glowing Letters

Down on the promenade itself this time: the giant VICTORIA HARBOUR letters glowing in pink, blue and teal, the skyline sparkling behind them, and the walkway belonging to evening strollers, families and kids on bikes. Some waterfronts you rush through — this one slows you down. That sentence went under the film the night we posted it, and it is still the truest review of the place we have.
No. 5 — Towers Lighting Up

A slow pan across Victoria Harbour: towers lighting up stretch by stretch, yachts resting in the marina, and that skyline waiting at the end of the move — filmed from across the water on a clear night. Under it, for the first time in this series, ILLIT's “You're Under Arrest” (체포하겠어): the bright K-pop track that became the series' signature sound. The harbour at night is not sleepy. It is lit, awake, and a little bit playful — and so is the song.
No. 6 — Billboards Over the Water

One more slow pan along the harbour, the long way: the skyline on one side, then the far shore lighting up, billboards glowing over the water. Filmed where we stood on a clear night, with ILLIT on the track again — by No. 6 the pairing had become the series' habit. One harbour, one song, twenty seconds of the city being itself after dark.
No. 7 — The Star Ferry Crossing

The Star Ferry crossing Victoria Harbour at night, Hong Kong glowing on both shores: the oldest way across this water, still the best seat in the city. Green LED walls burn on the far shore, the skyline holds its line behind, and the ferry keeps its slow, unbothered course through all of it. These boats were crossing long before we arrived with a phone, and they will be crossing long after. There is gratitude in simply getting to watch.
No. 8 — Walls Of Light

This page comes first, the way this series works — story first, film second. The film for this moment premieres on XingAI Travel on October 31, 2026, at 7:00 PM CT, and it will be embedded here as soon as it is public.
By No. 8, the harbour's lights stop being windows and become walls: whole building faces wrapped in LED panels, colours cycling and logos turning over above the water, while the skyline holds its line behind them. It is the most electric view in the series so far, and the camera does the only honest thing available — it stands still, and lets the buildings perform. Under it, ILLIT again: by now the song and this harbour know each other.
No. 9 — Neon Skyline

This page comes first, the way this series works — story first, film second. The film for this moment premieres on XingAI Travel on November 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM CT, and it will be embedded here as soon as it is public.
A neon skyline across the water, its colours doubled on the harbour's dark surface, concrete blocks sitting at the water's edge like the harbour's own front row. Under it, a first for the series: KHAN's voice carrying “Despacito” as a slow cover — the most familiar love song in the world, turned down to the speed of a skyline. One harbour, nine nights in, and the series is still collecting: the album above stays open.
The Most Beautiful — How We'll Choose
Nine moments are gathered on this page so far, and the series is still collecting; the compilation film will hold the ten most beautiful. The choice will not be made by taste behind closed doors, so here is the standard, written out in the open before any result exists. The ten will be picked by the audience's own record: views and likes first — the nights you returned to most, and the ones you thanked with a like — and, as the deciding measure between close finishes, the like-to-view ratio, which shows which moments moved the people who actually found them. When the ten are chosen, they will be marked here, one by one, and cut into a single film, “Hong Kong Nights — The Most Beautiful Moments.” And because a list like this should leave its finest honour with its audience, the No. 1 moment of the ten will also be put to a community vote.
One fairness rule, and it is not negotiable: the newest moment always gets its full two weeks in the world before any final ten is named — no night gets voted off at birth. While the series is still running, that clock simply keeps resetting with each new night, and until the ten are named this page deliberately carries no rankings and no counts: views and likes move every day, and a standard you can trust should not be rewritten by whichever morning you happen to check it.
Our list, our harbour. If you go to Hong Kong, stand on that waterfront yourself after dark — by the letters, across from the marina, where the ferry crosses — and your own most beautiful will come out different from ours. That is exactly how it should be. 🌃
